Trek Snowy Ausangate and its 7 Lagoons – Full Day: (4860 meters above sea level).

We will begin our tour to the Ausangate mountain and its 7 lagoons by picking you up from your hotel, provided it is near the main square of the city, or if necessary, right there in the main square, at approximately 4:00 a.m. Once the entire group has gathered, we will continue our journey to the beautiful community of Pacchanta, a trip of approximately six hours, during which we will have the opportunity to appreciate the impressive flora and fauna of the high Andean landscapes.

Once in Pacchanta, we’ll enjoy a nutritious breakfast typical of the region. We’ll have a short break during which our guide will provide detailed information about the adventure that’s about to begin.

After breakfast, we’ll continue our walking tour of the Seven Lakes of Ausangate. The hike covers approximately 7.5 km and will take about five hours. During this time, we’ll visit the Azulqocha, Orco Otorongo, China Otorongo, Puqacocha, Alqacocha, Qomercocha, and Patacocha lakes, and marvel at the views of majestic mountains such as Ausangate, Mariposa, Jampa, Pucapunta, Caracol, and Tinke.

Along the way, we will have the opportunity to observe native birds, alpacas, llamas, vizcachas and, with a bit of luck, the majestic Andean condor.

After completing the lagoon circuit, we’ll return to Pacchanta where we’ll enjoy a delicious local lunch. Then, we’ll relax in the community’s medicinal hot springs, recovering and recharging our energy after a day of incredible discoveries in the Andes.

Concluding our tour of the 7 Lakes of Ausangate with the return to the city of Cusco, at approximately 7:00 p.m.
